Experiment and instantaneous driving simulation of explosion dispersion process of central tube for submunition

Abstract In order to study the influence of explosion dispersion submunition on velocity and pressure characteristics subunits, experimental explosive central tube was carried out when explosives with low detonation were applied in as main charge. addition, test process recorded by high-speed photography. RDX-based aluminized samples prepared tested, performance changes under different charge diameters densities obtained. Based submunition, physical model three-dimensional axisymmetric finite element tube, subunit aluminium alloy shell prefabricated grooves are established. The fluid-structure coupling calculation method is used simulate process. simulation results compared results, distribution variation law analyzed. effectiveness engineering JWL equation parameters verified. show that using RDX based structure can achieve design goal for accurately describe subunit. research be guide structural warhead.
